100 Things Every Montanan Should Do

The Great Falls Tribune recently published an article entitled “A Montana bucket list: 100 things every Montanan should do.”  I love this list, because it has random, quirky things that a visitor to Montana may never hear of, and will easily pass over during their vacation.

Here are a few of my favorites:

59. Shake the hand of the sorehead in Rudyard, pop: “596 nice people and one old sorehead.” At the very least, have a cup of coffee in the Sorehead Cafe.

42. Whoop it up at an old-fashioned, small-town community dance.   (NOTE: I still need to do this!!)

5. Visit all Montana’s tiny corner towns: Yaak, Alzada, Westby and Sula.

I believe the list is applicable to anyone wanting to truly experience Montana, not just those that live here. Enjoy!!

Warm Wishes from Big Sky Country,
