Spartan Race Montana! May 2013

How many of you have heard of the SPARTAN RACE?!!

I have never attended one, so I don’t really know what it is all about! It sounds like a very difficult obstacle course that I am not in good enough shape to try.

It is not very often that an event like this makes its way to the northwest corner of Montana!!

The course is about 4 miles long.  They will let 200 athletes start every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. and on.  One of the great benefits they offer to those competing is “free mud, and bragging rights.” You also get a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.  Who wouldn’t want to try it??  (Except me – maybe if I didn’t have a little one!)  Parking costs $10, cash only.

That is where you will find a great number of locals and people this Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Bigfork, Montana.

The event takes place at the Flathead Lake Lodge.   For all the info you need on the race: http://www.spartanrace.com/montana-obstacle-racing-spartan-sprint-2013.html

Who is attending the Spartan Race in Montana?!

Warmest Wishes from Big Sky Country,

Alex Neill
