Fall in Love with Fall in Montana
I have written this same thing many times …
Every time that autumn arrives in Montana, I fall in love with fall in Montana all over again.
The colors are absolutely spectacular as the Western Larch changes color before it loses its needles in November, just in time for winter. This display in western Montana is best during the month of October. The Western Larch covers the hillsides in splashes of color. In addition to the Larch, Aspen trees and many other kinds of trees also show their colors.
Another bonus about Montana in autumn is that most hotels offer discounted rates during this season, as most tourists are gone with the warm weather. The temperature will still be in the 80’s in September, and you will get many sunny 70 degree days in October.
I can’t say it enough. Autumn in Montana is one of the best times to visit!! Come fall in love with Montana in the fall with me….
Warm Wishes from Big Sky Country,
