Hello and Welcome from Montana Vacation Blog!
Thank you for joining me here at Montana Vacation Blog! I am so happy that you decided to read the blog!
As a native Montanan, I have often taken life on the “slower side” for granted. I spent many years of my life attending college and law school elsewhere, often thinking I would end up somewhere other than Montana. Thankfully, I have chosen the path that I have. I now have a wonderful husband and beautiful daughter (and three awesome dogs: Frank, Doug, and Deuce), and we are fortunate enough to reside in Whitefish, Montana. We spend hours on the road, visiting different areas in Montana. I have always been thankful for the few people, the little traffic, and the panoramic views of mountains and plains. The seasons in Montana are spectacular. I could not imagine a winter without snow, a fall without changing leaves, and a summer without crystal clear blue lakes and green mountains. Life is just different here off the beaten track. Things move at a slower pace, and that is how I like it. A place where people are friendly, and will stop to say hello or to answer questions you may have. A place where people have time for each other. Where you have room to breathe. Where you feel less of a need to “get away,” because every day feels like a vacation.
You will find us on the open Montana highway, finding all of the hidden gems and jewels that you will need to make your vacation an experience you will never forget. Montana is a special place that I hope everyone gets to enjoy at least once in their lifetime.
This blog is written by me, with occasional input from my husband, and an occasional guest blogger.
