Hidden Falls, On the Way to Grinnell Lake, Glacier National Park, Montana, USA

Hidden falls can be found on your hike to Grinnell Lake near Many Glacier, Glacier National Park, Montana.

Directly before the suspension bridge, you will see a sign to your left that says Hidden Falls, 0.2 miles.

Take this left hand turn.  The trail heads up a pretty steep incline, and then levels out to a beautiful overlook of Hidden Falls.

You can see the bottom of Hidden Falls directly from the trail to Grinnell Lake, but the overlook to Hidden Falls shows you the backside of the bottom of the waterfall you can see while crossing the suspension bridge.

I know the sign says 0.2 miles, but it did not feel like 0.2 miles to me.  It felt really short.  It is worth the short trek up the hill to see more of the waterfalls.  (I read somewhere else that it is only 0.1 miles, which sounds more accurate to me.)

I am in love with this waterfall.  Even the section viewable from the suspension bridge is captivating; a waterfall cascading into the stream with a rock wall on either side.  I could sit by that waterfall all day.

You can look down at the suspension bridge from the top.  The waterfall falls 25 feet.

Do yourself a favor and include the hike to Hidden Falls on your trip to Grinnell Lake in Glacier National Park, Montana.

Warm Wishes from Big Sky Country,

Alex M. Neill
