When Is It Worth Buying the Annual Pass to all national parks?

Are you planning an U.S. road trip this summer?  Planning on visiting multiple national parks?

Something to consider buying is the Annual Park Pass for $80.00 that gets you one year’s access to all of the national parks in the United States.  The pass also includes entrance to national forests, and national wildlife refuges.

The annual park pass is something you will have to decide whether it is worth it for you.  If you are only planning on visiting Yellowstone National Park (and Grand Teton National Park, which is included in the Yellowstone entry fee and vice versa), and Glacier National Park, the annual park pass probably isn’t worth it to you because the 7-day pass for both parks together is still less expensive than the annual park pass.

As I live in Whitefish, I always buy the annual pass to Glacier National Park, and just buy 7-day entries into Yellowstone National Park.

You can buy the annual park pass at any entrance to a national park.  For more information on the annual pass, click here.

Warmest Wishes from Big Sky Country,
