The perfect picnic spot: Paradise Point, Two Medicine Lake, Glacier National Park, Montana
Paradise Point is a pretty point on the shores of Two Medicine Lake in Glacier National Park, Montana. This beautiful beach area is a great spot to have a picnic.
To get here: Leave from the South Shore Trailhead near the boat dock on Two Medicine Lake. The hike will take you uphill, and then you will see the sign that points you to turn right to get down to Paradise Point. The elevation gain is about 220 feet and the trip is 1.4 miles roundtrip.
This is a beautiful spot that will give you a scenic view of Two Medicine Lake from a different perspective. This pleasant hike through the trees is worth it for the pretty views. This is also a great spot to watch the boat tours and kayakers on the lake.
I would say this is a great spot for swimming as well, but you have to be especially brave to get into this cold water.
If you are looking for a quick easy hike, or want to enjoy another picnic spot along Two Medicine Lake with fewer crowds, Paradise Point is your spot.
Warm Wishes from Big Sky Country,
