Whitefish Farmers Market in Whitefish, Montana
If you are visiting Whitefish, Montana, between the months of May through the end of September, a stop at the Whitefish Farmers Market on Tuesday nights should be on your list of things to see!
The farmers market is a fun event held every week from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Whitefish, at the north end of Central Avenue in front of the Amtrak Train Station.
You will find so many booths to browse through, offering local art, fresh products from local farmers, and locally made crafts for sale! There is also cute clothing, face painting for kids, and one year we bought a beautiful Montana-shaped cutting board to give as a Christmas present.
We head down to the market pretty much every week. Even if we don’t buy anything, there is a lot of food to choose from for a quick dinner, including sweet treats like (my favorite): Sweet Peaks cupcake ice cream!! You are sure to run into someone you know if you live around here. If you are visiting Whitefish, people are very friendly and will give you lots of information on anything you want to know!
There is also always live music.
Whitefish also offers a Special Harvest market in October of each year. Many other cities in Montana also offer these farmers market weekly, so keep your eyes open for more blogs!
