"Yellowstone for Families - Lodging and Learning Programs"
For families looking for fun things to do with their children in Yellowstone National Park this summer, there are lots of fun options.
A popular choice is the “Yellowstone for Families” which is a package that includes lodging, breakfasts and lunches, bus transportation, and instruction by a naturalist guide. There are many activities provided, from hiking and painting to animal tracking and exploring Yellowstone’s geysers and waterfalls.
This was named the “Best Summer Family Camp in America” by Good Morning America!
Unfortunately, we don’t have the option of doing these because our baby will just be turning one this summer! (We have a LONG way to go!) But I have heard wonderful things, and if your child falls in the right age category (8-12 years old), I think this would be a spectacular experience for them.

*For children over 12, there is the Trails through Yellowstone Program.
Enjoy your time in Yellowstone with your family. I have the best memories of living in Gardiner, Montana, in the summers when I was a kid, and hiking all over Yellowstone National Park. These are times your children will never forget!!!
